I handed my three year old daughter a brush and a canvas and asked her the most dangerous question you could ever ask a human being: "Paint what you are feeling." She smiled for about a half hour as she moved the brush back and forth across the canvas. When she was done, this painting remained. The glow of the canvas was only outshined by the smile on her fave while she made this. In that moment I was reminded that the real gift in creating art isn't in what people think–or whether or not they buy it. The real prize, joy, and happiness in MAKING the art. This is a 1 of 1.
